Tried Everything: LiveLink will not connect to UE5

I’ve used Metahuman with LiveLink face before. Now it won’t connect. I’m running LiveLink on iPhone 12 and sending to UE5.1.1 on Windows 11. I have:

Ensured my workstation and phone are on the same wifi.
LiveLink is pointing to the correct IPv4 of my workstation.
Workstation is on a Private Network.
Disabled firewall on private network.
Make special Windows firewall rule to receive UDP via Port 11111.
Enabled all relevant plugins (ARKit and ARKit face, Livelink and Control Rig) in UE5.
Reconfigured Unicast Endpoint in UDP Messaging settings, failed, then reset it to default.
Checked that LiveLink app can communicate with Local Network in iPhone settings.
Ensured all File Sharing options are available in Windows settings for Private Networks.
Unplugged and Rebooted Wifi.
Opened and closed all apps, refreshed and reset all of them.
Made new unreal Scenes, deleted and redownloaded fresh metahumans.
Tried Unreal 5.1
Dragged and replaced some uasset files recommended by Salomon Jagwe
Did WoodyDevs checklist…

Nothing has worked. Really really frustrated.

I have the same problem with live link face as you. I can’t connect to UE4.27 and UE5.1. If you have solved this problem, please share the solution process with me, thank you

I found that I only need to reinstall the live link Face App on the iPhone X, so that the live link plug-in in UE5.1 can get the information of the iPhone X.
I have successfully connected iPhone X and UE5.1, and successfully tested the face capture effect.

I unplugged and fully reset my wifi router. It finally worked after that.

+1 this issue. Can’t connect after trying everything. Worked in older versions

I am not sure if you were able to fix it yet, however I used to have this problem too. What worked for me is using the device that Unreal is running on as a mobile hotspot. I share the wifi that my computer already has trough a wifi connection from my computer to my phone. When I then input the ip address, in the LiveLink app, it works. You can also use the bluetooth, but this is really slow, I don’t recommend that.
Hope this helps!

hey kimbo, where did you put the ip adress in the livelink app? i cant find it

I put the IP in the targets in the LiveLink settings of the app and I left the port empty.

same Problem

Make sure the app is up to date. Also, clear out all your targets. If there are too many targets sometimes it interferes.
