tree nanite problem un5.3

Hello, I have imported several models from 3D MAX


into the project, but the material has changed and the quality is decreasing. Also, when I use Nanite, the model is completely damaged. Thank you for your help.

I’ve faced similar problems, not all tree models really support nanite, dunno why.
Sometimes these help, sometimes not.
Try,

  1. Double click on the model in the content browser (model editor)
    1a) → Nanite settings → Preserve area
    1b) → LOD settings → LOD Group : Foliage

  2. Double click on the leaf/bark texture in the content browser → Level of detail → Mip Gen Settings : NoMipMaps

Try using the default M_MS_Foliage_Material, it’s pretty decent for most imported/fbx/obj foliage.
