I’m using a basic traslucent material in Unreal Engine 5.1
When I try to place a static mesh with this material the part that ends up inside a shadow becomes black. How I can avoid this and keep the green color?

Hi MK_Studio
I’m having trouble reproducing this. Are there any special shadow settings on your directional light?
Create a new level and use the basic one. I didn’t tweaked any light because I use this simple scene for programming logic for my main project
PS: try to use dark material on the wall and the ground like in my scene. Download any asphalt from the quixal bridge
My test was done in a new ‘Basic Level’.
I’m not seeing any difference with dark materials.
Your mention of Quixel materials does make me wonder if it’s a material setting that’s causing this.
Are you able to reproduce this when using basic materials, or you’re only seeing it with Quixel mats?
