Translucent Water Material - Displacement Banding Issue

Thanks for the heads up. I tried the above and when it wasn’t working i assumed the commented HLSL was just a hint or such. Turns out I had set “Render Custom Depth Pass” on the mesh, but not “Allow Custom Depth Writes” on the material - all good :slight_smile:

Hi, I cannot get it to work, I am sure that I did all the steps as needed. Here is a screenshot of my ocean and a my node setup on the material. Maybe the problem is with the custom node. I have the mesh set up to render custom depth pass and the material to allow custom depth writes.
