Translucency Broken Again - 5.4.3

Here is a simple Alpha Mask in the Opacity slot, using Translucency and SurfaceTranslucency Volume


That’s with Lumen.

And below, a snapshot with the same material using Pathtracer:

Seems broken again, unless I am missing something here.

Thanks for any ideas, thoughts and fixes.

translucent doesn’t support proper depth testing. a known depth sorting issue since 199x. you gotta use a masked material.
