There is a cool node called “Rotate Root Bone” but is there a node that can be added to the animgraph to translate the root bone?
I’m also looking for an answer to this. The Rotate Root Bone node rotates the character but it still keeps moving in the original root motion animation’s translation.
Is there a way to extract root motion animation’s translation on the root node and modify it before sending to the final animation pose?

Yes you can do that, when you import an animation on Import Translation choose the x,y,z offset value you desire and this will effectively offset the animation (its root) by that amount.
Note that you can do that only when importing the animation. If you import and later change the import translation/rotation and whatnot, from the animation’s asset details panel, it will have no effect.
