Transfer Material Data from World Outliner / Level onto Part in Geometries / Content Browser - Help?

I used datasmith to import a large number of CAD parts. They were imported without texturing or colours, so are standard WorldGridMaterial.
I have found it easier to ground items and assign materials in the Worldoutliner / level editor.

Is there a way of forcing the materials chosen in the Worldoutliner / level editor onto the items in the content content browser?


Is there a way of applying materials to multiple parts at a time in the content browser?

Any help would be great.
