Trampoline or rubber mat configuration?

I’m looking for something different than the Jump Pad Launch example.
New to Unreal and looking for physics of a trampoline. Doesn’t have to be cloth and bend but ideally would at least behave like one
so when a character (1st or 3rd person) jumps on it they bounce up in proportion to the height they drop from,
and would continue to bounce less and less.

Tried the Launch Pad but not right action.
Tried making physics material with bounce. Worked for ball drop on it but not for 3rd party character.
Tried Pawn and various actors with no success.

Any suggestions?
