Trader info was submitted weeks ago and still not been verified but Epic? Am I doing something wrong?

Hi I received this notification while trying to verify my trader status; Verification error We were unable to complete your trader verification. In order to retry, please reach out to our support team by creating a private case. I have sorted my tax information no problem, they have opened it back up so I could resubmit, I sent that weeks ago, and submitted a private case ticket but heard nothing? Not sure if there is a better way to go about this as it gives no info as to what might have gone wrong. Is waiting weeks for something that says should be sorted within an hour usual? I was hoping to get it resolved soon as but been over a month since I started now. I wanted to launch my game in tandem with the Steam launch, but canā€™t submit the store page and build until I get that part fixed. Many Thanks James

Hello, I have faced a similar issue. I just wanted to check if there is any document or list of documents that is considered as acceptable document for US businesses that would help resolve the issue of trader verification? Thank you for any help in this regard.

Hello. Exact same thing here. Itā€™s taking forever to get this solved. Hope there was a way to reach them by chat or in a more convenient way. And get an approximate time of waiting! But yet nothing.

Was this ever resolved? They said 48 hours and itā€™s been several days now. Thanks

Yeah I have the same issue. I have no idea what document they want.

Unreal support said to try again, essentially, with a document that clearly has:

Your business name
Your business registration number
A street address
A city and
A country

And to make sure all of that matches exactly what you type in the ā€˜profileā€™ step.

I want to know who their ā€˜third party providerā€™ is. Otherwise its frustrating because we have no idea what is going wrong! And the error messages are so generic. ā€œReverification is not allowed at this timeā€. I meanā€¦ ok? When will it be? Is this a time out because I re-tried too soon? Or does that mean it already submitted? Very confusing.

Sometimes itā€™s helpful to use other support channels such as chat or phone, and check out the community forums where other users can share their advice. Of course itā€™s worth looking at the digital business card before collaborating with someone) Donā€™t hesitate to be persistent, especially if you have a deadline for the game to launch, and if possible ask for help from people you know on the platform.
