Trace Complex on Move for Static Meshes...

This Engine… It really gets annoying that nothing works as said in the description. I sometimes get the feeling that the description of settings are written by someone who never even seen the Engine let alone used it.

In any blueprint, click on a static mesh component (in my scenario that mesh is the root component of the actor and has complex collision enabled), under the collision tab there is a setting called ‘Trace Complex on Move’ which descriptions reads: 'If true, component SWEEPS with this component should trace against complex collision during movement (for example, each triangle of a mesh) however that setting literally does nothing.

I set it to true and tried to lerp the entire actor from it’s starting location to a destination location with the ‘Set Actor Location’ node (of course on that node the ‘Sweep’ checkbox is also checked) however the actor still passes through every single obstacle along it’s way. If i add a simple collision to the static mesh it works as intended (which in my case is not a feasable solution because the mesh is to complex for that). What is that setting for if it does not do what is written in it’s description?

It’s really annoying and unproductive that half of the settings do either nothing or don’t do what is described. Maybe Epic should finally begin to remove or fix non working stuff out of future builds. That setting is there since the very first UE4 version up until now to the latest UE5 version and it never did anything. This is just confusing and overly complicated.

Also can Epic please finally fix this useless Forum on Smartphones? Writing something here is a chore. As soon as the Keyboard opens the entire site gets squished and is unreadable, i always have to close the Keyboard, look if i made any mistakes, click again on the text and continue to write blindly (using Google Chrome on Android)
