Does anyone know what’s going on here? I bought an animation pack from the marketplace and want to use my own mesh, but everything is a little off. What should I do?
There’s a few things you can do.
You can create a bone/socket and place it on the hand (this is found in the character’s skeleton tab), and then using a blueprint, attach the torch to that bone/socket.
OR
You can edit the animation in the LEVEL SEQUENCER.
If you’re unsure on how to do either of these things, look up a tutorial on skeletal sockets and attachments.

Ah the video above is with a socket in the hand. I’ll try out the level sequencer and see what i can do, thanks!
For anyone interested, I had to retarget the animations. Once that was done everything worked as expected
