As Far as I know, In my Opinion after talking with several others Community Member, Fab is not taking down these “Copyrighted” and “Stolen” Assets, Instead they are Planning to Monetize it especially for UEFN by introducing New License for these Assets.
Which is Bad for Game Developers, For Example someone Bought Gun without knowing where is it from and since they have removed Question/Answers therefore aware users can’t aware others about it being Stolen or Copyrighted

For this same reason, Alot of Buyers are currently avoiding 3D Models instead they are only looking in Unreal or Unity Field since there is atleast little bit Accountability altough not (100 percentage secure since in past there were some cases of Ripped assets from another game sold in unreal marketplace)
From what other users claim that they are making own license for stolen and copyrighted material, might be no point reporting to epic games if that is true. I think the best is making the companies owning the assets aware, and epic games probably will be getting a law suit from them. I mean, you could say this is blatant piracy and copyright infringement, some people already selling assets and not just free. In the end they are responsible for content on their platform

Either way, epic games will get problems just hosting the files. All responsibility falls on them as it’s their servers that host them. If they go through with making special license for copyrighted material, they are specially weakening their position dramatically legally if the owners decides to take legal action i’d say. There would be limited what they can use for defense then, example like TOS warnings etc… Wont hold up as they breaking TOS themselves, i mean i would expect there to be something about copyrighted materials in TOS at least.
I noticed some random valorant character popping up from riot games. Seems to be direct rip too
Big Companies have Experts who write Agreements to protect them from any situation, In Fab Distribution Agreement, Seller have all responsibility of there content and will held Epic Games Innocent in case of any Law Suite.
Similarly You also have to Sign EULA before Downloading anything from Fab First time until there is any Update, So in there you agree that they won’t be responsible for any accountability moderation of Copyrighted and Stolen Content
Well, unless they have some obscure fanart policy in the works; 99% of this stuff was inherited from SketchFab, so chances are that they have their hands full.
But I haven’t really heard any talks of monetizing these stolen assets with an custom license
Well directly they can’t verify from where asset was extracted or Stolen, So they will indeed approve it, Unless caught by Original Copyright Holder.
So they will Still monetize from it although won’t have separate License for “Stolen Content” but it will slip with other License which they are planning for Future

Pokémon Wiki:Copyrights
A legal concept known as “Copyright” was established to protect persons’ creative works from being duplicated and distributed without their agreement, as well as from misrepresenting such works as one’s own. It is a form of intellectual property that provides individuals, groups, or businesses exclusive rights to their creative works as soon as they become publicly available. This legal protection allows creators to control the reproduction and circulation of their creations.

In Epic Fortnite section 1.8 Moderation rule.
Keep it original

You will be SCANCTIONED if you use content if you use content not belonging to you.

hi @deleted_user ,
This is my last post on the subject of FAB Copyright.
A developer has PMed me that he put content on FAB and has been Scantioned for it, so verification is in progress.
There is fast-track reporting for unoriginal content breaches, including copyright violations to Epic.
There are also sanctions for false allegations of Copyright breach.
Potentially have your account banned or closed
The sanctions are clear monetization fines, and the current month’s sales are cancelled.
The Appeal system which is upheld can see a ban of 30 days.
The content in question contains about 60% similar to the original and similar violations which in Fortnite would result in sanctions.
Often a sanction is found in later weeks and the content is removed.
Most likely in the months to come these same Fortnite rules will be applied to FAB
Mind sharing it if it’s not the DMCA option that pops up whenever you report something?
I genuinely hope that this doesn’t become an reality.
On SketchFAB site is
It’s strange that they are selling it, it’s not their model, and if the copyright holders find out about it, I’m afraid there will be at least a fine
We are allowed to sell it on sketchfab as an editorial licence
What is the difference between the editorial and standard license?
Certain 3D assets are available under only an “editorial” license, which has certain restrictions. In particular, those assets (a) cannot be used for any commercial or promotional use; (b) cannot be used to suggest sponsorship, affiliation, or association with any person, brand, or company; and (c) can be used in only works that comment on or criticize the subject matter of the assets or newsworthy or public interest events associated with them (e.g., news articles, critical reviews, documentaries, etc.). You may edit an asset only if its editorial quality is not altered.
A standard license does not have all of the restrictions that apply to an editorial license, but there are some restrictions detailed below. In both cases, others can do the same, as none of the licenses on the Sketchfab Website are exclusive.
It is also important to note that Epic is the Third Party, not the original second-party seller
Now you all need to invest in a lawyer for the interpretation of the licences
This really is the end for me now This thread is muted
