Tool tip wont work if the tool tip windoww is empty even if its correctly linked correctly linked
Repro steps.

  1. Make an new Widget Bp
  2. Create a button/text
  3. Link the “tool tip text” to any variable or string you want
  4. Try to “see” the tool tip ingame

PD: Puting any value on the default value of the tooltip make the tooltip work correctly like in an image below

Hello terror grunt,

After doing a bit of digging I found that this is a known issue (UE-13264) and that it has been resolved internally. This solution will be made available in a later release of the engine. Thank you for your time and information.
