hi @JokerDoky
To avoid any legal problems the wording is “Epic recommends Windows 10 for development” and “Windows 10 22h2 ONLY is supported”
Any PC can be set as Multi version Dual Boot using the Windows 10 installation USB created in by Media Manager App after buying a Windows 10 licence code.
Sometime in the future, this message may change . Epic Fortnite support has been more vocal about this and this message may change.
Basically, UE4 will NOT work properly on Windows 11, because Win11 did not exist!
Essentially Epic ask that developers make sure everything works on 4.27 and the latest 5.4
This means you need to use Windows 10 to test 4.27 apps as for many users this is the latest version they work with.
In the future Windows 11 Direct X 12 Ultimate drivers may be more tuned and tightly written and therefore will be as efficient as Windows 10 DX12 drivers.
