Fractured Mind is a modular adaptive tension music system designed for psychological horror, suspense, stealth, thriller, and atmospheric gameplay.
Built at 90 BPM, this kit gives developers a flexible set of layered tension beds that can be used as complete curated systems or broken apart, edited, randomized, and recombined to fit the needs of your game.
Rather than functioning as a simple loop pack, Fractured Mind is designed around adaptive implementation. Each bed includes layered musical elements that can be brought in or removed based on gameplay intensity, allowing the score to evolve with the player’s experience.

Implementation & Customization Guide PDF
Designed for Adaptive Gameplay
Fractured Mind can be used in a variety of game audio workflows, including:
Unreal Engine with Blueprints, MetaSounds, triggers, fades, and randomized playback logic
Unity with AudioSources, scripted systems, mixers, snapshots, and random selection
Wwise / FMOD with parameters, states, switches, random containers, playlists, and vertical layering
Custom audio systems
No middleware is required. The assets can be implemented directly in your engine or adapted into a more advanced interactive music system.
Why Silence Tracks Are Included
Silence is not empty.
This kit includes silence tracks as intentional design tools. They can be used to reduce loop fatigue, create suspense, reset player expectation, and make the return of rhythm or pulse feel more dramatic.
By alternating rhythm, pulse, texture, and silence, developers can create tension systems that feel less predictable and more alive.
Flexible and Customizable
The included beds are organized based on their original emotional arc and sound palette, but they are not fixed arrangements. Developers are encouraged to mix and match layers between beds, cut pulse and rhythm tracks into shorter sections, stack elements carefully for greater intensity, or use silence to create sudden moments of unease.
Use the kit as a ready-made adaptive tension system, or treat it as a modular toolkit for building your own.
