Tone Mapping Wide Color Space

Am I doing something wrong or is it just this way?

I am creating wide gamut files:
RAW>Raw Therapee>Output Colour Space ProPhoto (Rec.2020).

On import I have the option to use RC Tone Mapping, or, No Tone Mapping as part of the 8-bit down conversion.

If I use RC Tone Mapping, I can select Geomtery in the 2D Image tab and see the mapped jpg image (lower).
In another window, I can select Texture to see the unmapped ProPhoto image (upper).

The top image appears as expected with no colour management applied.
The mapping appears to be incorrect (high black level) relative to the perceptually converted source image (right).

The texture is output as exr 128 bit and a 64 bit tiff.
It can be viewed correctly in Gimp when the ProPhoto color space is assigned.

So, it appears that the math is correct, but wondering if there is there another method to view the texture file correctly with a perceptual colour space applied within Reality Capture?

Dear user, we do not have an option to switch between different colour spaces. But, as long as it proved to be correct on your end, I guess it is nothing harmful, just a visual input.
