That was an interesting feature to learn about, but I ended up importing the FP character and changing the possessed pawn to that when you enter the room and to the third person character when you leave it. I definitely have this tutorial earmarked for later, though!
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a video, or kindly explain if it is possible to do the following:
I have a third person game I am working on, having started with the UE4 third person starter content. What I WANT TO DO is have a player go into a “Shooting” Gallery, where they are then using the First Person starter content player mesh, with the shooting gun, and arms. I want to be able to have the player back out of the room and go back to being 3rd person perspective once more.
It would be ideal if I could set the FP perspective to a key, like rolling the mouse wheel, and only having it available in the room [Box Collider].
Anyways, its just an idea. Thanks!

Hey, not sure if you still need help, but if you don’t, it would be awesome if you accept the answer as correct, so other people who ask the same question will see it’s answered and can be redirected to the tutorial. If not, feel free to ask more questions about your case! <3
