Yup, is is about copyrights.

You buy (or Epic gives for free) assets only to be used in packaged games. You do not own/buy assets you buy license to use them in your own projects and games.

So when you buy asset pack for yourself (and you own license to use it in projects), then you join indie team, technically you cannot share project in indie team that has assets that only you own. But i think nobody will mind this.

However you cannot use marketplace assets in projects that you plan to share as tutorials, demos etc. Or for eg with recruiters, when they ask for some projects you made.
