Before adding any new toys to play with it would be a good idea to fix the code that is already written. I am on my 36th crash so far. I know that my spec is getting a little old now (NVIDIA 2070RTX 32MB), but as an old programmer, I would be appalled by the number and frequency of crashes.
The latest issue that I have is it will not save without crashing even with models that caused it no problems previously. It will not export without crashing. If also fails to pick up some materials in the User Library.
Yesterday it was HDRI Skies not downloadable. Today it’s crashing just like you describe and I get the same screen messages shown in your reference. Did you ever get any support answers from TM ?
Hi Support thought that it could be an issue with HDRI. Remove the HDRI and try to save.
I went back to a previous version of the model and it worked. I do worry about the code. It crashes far too often and random features just seem to stop working.
