I have some problem when I use a glass material and DOF.
as you can see in the below images the area of the glass object that is in front of the object in focus instead of being blurred it is sharp.
Here with a 100% opacity glass material and DOF
Here with a 20% opacity glass material and DOF
Here with a 100% opacity glass material and NO DOF
In Unreal you can fix the problem checking the translucent property of the material "Output Velocity" (I found this solution on Reddit, thank you
TLCplMax!!!)
How can I fix this problem in Twinmotion?
Anybody can help me?
Hello ,
Thank you for posting in the community your findings and how you were able to resolve this in Unreal Engine. I was able to reproduce this problem in a simple scene as well but would you be able to submit a bug report and include your TM file so we can best investigate and follow-up with you on this matter: https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/case-community-page
Kind regards,
Vincent B.
Hello Vincent,
Thank you for your fast reply, I submitted the bug report with the TM file. (even if I guess is not file related because was all TM geometry and you could also create the problem)
Once the team find a solution I will update the post.
Best regards
Any update on this issue? I’m having the same problem. DoF needs improvement fast.

Hello ,
Thank you for the follow-up and unfortunately this is a current limitation but we are investigating ways to resolve this in a future release.
Kind regards,
