Tip: How to fix broken textures in UE 5.5

If you struggle with having updated your project to UE’s latest version 5.5, you might have noticed that some textures appear pitch black and when the textures are opened, they just display the canvas of black and white squares. This is because in UE 5.5, at the moment texturing is broken with non-virtual textures.
How to fix this:
Select one or multiple broken textures, right-click on them and select “Convert to Virtual Texture”. This will make them display normal again and.
