I was told Delay nodes are terrible practice so I wanted to try and use set timer by event. I want this event to by fire off after 3 seconds, any idea how I would do this or why this is not working?
From what you have there, I’d say you’re not calling it ( IE, the ‘set timer by event’ node is not called ).
Delay nodes are fine, by the way, it really depends what you do with them. It’s bit like Tick, it can be used to summon demons, but there’s nothing actually wrong with the node…
