Timeline as reusable asset?

You can create a single curve in the content browser as asset, and then use it in a timeline, but you can’t save internal timeline curves as assets, neither can you save the entire timeline as an asset, which is very useful when you have synchronised tracks you want to use together.

Also, there seems to be no way to copy/paste track data or the timeline node ? When copying the blueprint timeline node itself into text, it only copies the position and inputs/outputs list, not the actual track contents. Since I’ve made some tracks/timelines in external programs, I could write an exporter for that into whatever text format UE4 could parse, but it seems to not be able to parse any ?

Ancient question, but since I just looked it up

“However, you may also Right-click on
any curve (with at least one key
selected) and choose Create External
Curve. This brings up a context window
in which you can edit the path into
which the curve asset will be saved.
In doing this, you may then use this
curve again on other timelines.”
