So I am trying to import a tiled heightmap terrain from Gaea into Unreal But whenever I import it, the heightmap just stays as a flat plane. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Down below are screenshots of my Gaea export settings, the settings I inputted to create my landscape, and an overall screenshot of the flat plane after importing.
Don’t think this is solved. I’ve tried a dozen different nodes to bring the height back into heightmap. Just flatlands at every node. What’s annoying, there’s a few other nodes (flow and boulders) which render when imported. Just not the heightmap.

So I did a normal build vs the split build… worked that way, can’t import split builds. I think this belongs with the Gaea forum.
