Thumbnail moderation makes no sense

One time I tried to publish an update for my boxfight game. The update got rejected for apparently advertising 2 skins were available to unlock by playing the game… which I did not say anything about that. All I did was include Boxer and Boxy in the thumbnail because those two skins make sense for a boxfight. My map got rejected for that update.

Today’s Epic’s Picks has a game titled ‘DON’T FALL,’ Showcasing 6 SKINS (also not saying you can unlock them by playing) and they get Epic’s Picks! How come I get rejected and they don’t? Is it because I used Creative to make the map?

This is completely unacceptable. I just looked at today’s Epic’s Picks and saw this:

If Epic was fair then they wouldn’t have rejected my game with this thumbnail:
(I was in a rush to make this since I deleted the original, so just ignore the white text under the box and also ignore the fps)

This is completely unfair and unacceptable for me. I put 2 skins and got rejected for including them, but a map on Epic’s Picks has literally 13 DIFFERENT SKINS in the thumbnail!

I did nothing wrong except use Creative to make my game!

The arrow on the box !!
took me ages to notice… he he so easy to overlook

Ah, I see. Thank you for pointing this out, I also didn’t notice lol

I don’t know if I should:

  • edit Boxer’s asset to remove the arrow
  • just forget about including the assets altogether
  • or explain to Epic that this is a really dumb reason to get a game rejected, as the asset I used literally includes an arrow as part of the skin

But it didn’t even say it was because of the arrows, though. It said it was because I ‘’‘’‘‘promised’’‘’‘’ players would get the skins.
