The fruit is light green, some turn dark or yellow when they are old. It has a unique shape, not completely round, but rather elongated, with a slightly pointed tip, and looks similar to a lemon, but smaller. The outside is smooth and may have small marks. Khmer people like to eat the fruit with chili, salt, garlic, or pickles.
