This TV Static-like effect is happening with all my models. Need Help

I cannot find anything online that talks about this issue. Look at this video to see what I’m talking about. It’s very obvious around the base of the buildings, but its occurring with every model.

Any help is appreciated.

I think it might be lighting, fog, or some graphic setting. I’ve been tinkering with everything

Bump. Any thoughts? It’s present at the edges of every model. Also in the shadows

Hey there @LotionMyHotBod! Looks like this could a type of temporal artifacting by the way it resamples rapidly in that pattern.

Are you using Lumen for your global illumination? Does the artifacting disappear when disabling it?

Are you using TSAA? Does it change if you disable AA?

Hey @SupportiveEntity! Thanks for responding. So my project IS using Lumen. The quality of the models was 1000x worse until I turned off motion blur & switched the AA from TSR to FXAA/MSAA. The video is after that change. In my level I have exponential height fog, directional light, sky atmosphere, and sky light.

EDIT: So I shut off lumen and it fixed it! You’re my hero. Thanks so much. I’m surprised this info wasn’t readily available through hours of googling

Happy to help! Lumen’s compatibility with other temporal techniques has gotten a bit better since release but it definitely still needs improvement. I’ll definitely take note that this needs more visibility. Have a great day!
