as you can see in t he pics here , the front is visible trhe back is not. i recieved a warning about using materialsz properly didnt know what it was referring to , would appreciate some help and a solve for thios

What the warning is referring to is using a data asset for the material.
To do this right click in the content browser and select Miscellaneous>Data Asset
in the next window pick Building Texture Data.
Name it then Open it and drop the material you want to use into the Override Material slot, save and close.
Then the prop you want to put the material onto has under its Texture Data settings, Primary , Secondary etc
Drop your new Texture Data Asset into the Primary Slot.
I still keep the material in the staticmeshcomponent, as you have done, because it shows in editor and maybe in game.
Using the Texture Data slot also stops the prop from reverting to it’s default material if damaged…
