This Level Sequence actor does not have a Sequence asset assigned in the Details panel and cannot be opened.

Hey, has anyone ran into this issue? I was making my sequence, animated everything, key framed camera etc etc, and when i was getting ready to export through movie render queue, my UE5 crashed. the crashing isnt an issue, It’s happened before.

But when I opened my project up, clicked the recent level and went to open the level sequence, i received this message:

“This Level Sequence actor does not have a Sequence asset assigned in the Details panel and cannot be opened.”

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Is it possible that the level sequence asset wasn’t saved before you crashed? Look in the content brower to see if you can find your level sequence asset. If you find it, you can assign it to the Level Sequence Actor in the Details Panel. Once that assignment is made, you’ll be able to open the sequence from the Cinematics menu without getting this message.
