There is an invisible thin object that is about to make my map non-functional

I have run into an issue where a completely invisible object with no selectable actor is blocking character movement in my map. Here is what I have tried thusfar:

(Edit 6/25/2025): It makes a sound when you jump off of it which is identical to the sound of a metal frame surrounding the Asteria Neoncity Signframes. I had originally placed one in that area to put against the wall but have since deleted it. I have gone through the actor list attempting to see if a chunk of it was still there but there is nothing in the outliner showing a connection to it. I don’t know if knowing what it is will help or not.

So while I now know what it is, that still doesn’t solve the problem of being able to remove it since I cannot select/see it in any capacity. I am now attempting to go through my revision history to see if I can re-apply it and remove it.

(Edit 2 6/25/2025): I found the object in question but I am unable to properly remove it in its current state. It is in fact Asteria Neoncity Signframe E76 and somehow it has been made invisible/not completely deleted. Somehow between two revisions the deletion never properly registered and now there’s just an invisible frame of the sign sitting in the middle of my map. How am I supposed to compensate for that?

  1. Used a paint gun to attempt to reveal it visually - All the paint does is collide and dissipate. It shows no object.
  2. I have attempted to delete everything potentially attached to it to try to see if it’s connected to anything, but everything thusfar has not removed the “object”
  3. I have used the editor mode in fortnite itself and gone through UEFN to attempt to find the object but again, nothing can be selected despite obvious collision.
  4. I’ve attempted to select every actor/used wireframe view/collision view in UEFN and it has show me nothing.
  5. I have checked for everything labeled as “invisible” or “do no show”

Here is the collision map and a box/arrow showing where I end up colliding and the direction it extends out to.

and a full color shot for reference

I’ve checked all the objects that are behind the wall to see if they are causing it and so far my results have been nonexistant. The only things back there are a wind tunnel and some lighting/billboards

Photo showing the internals

There’s nothing inside the wall either

Here’s a video showing the collision

Worst case scenario I have to adjust the entire map away from it, but I can’t even do that without having to do so in chunks rather than move the whole map. I would rather have a way to detect this invisible object to remove it.

I’ve had myself and two other people attempt to find the source but we’re all too new to this software to figure it out as far as I can assume. I’ve been scouring the forums for the last week and a half trying to find a solution but there’s only fringe advice for things like this as far as I have been able to find.

Thank you for your help. I’ve put over a month into making this map and I am desperate for an answer.

I found it and removed it. It was a scrap of the previously mentioned neoncity sign that had somehow fused to a completely different neoncity sign. I create an entirely new project and copy/pasted the entire map into it. This somehow INCREASED the size of the invisible wall. I moused over it since it was bigger now with the grapple gun to see where the point of contact was. I was then able to end the gameplay, go back into edit mode and listen for the sound of me mousing over it and once I had it situated I hit X and deleted it. I then went back into the original version and duplicated this.

Frustrating, but I’m glad it’s over now.
