The Windows user name "Ricky Gai" cause any Android deployment issues ?

Windows 11 x64 Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1194)
Intel Core i7 6700 3.4GHz (Skylake 14nm)
RAM 32GB DDR4 1069MHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 4GB
TeamGroup GX2 SSD 1TB
Android 12
Unreal Editor 5.1.1

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Account to login to Windows 11, the user name is “Ricky Gai”, I checked the Microsoft Account page, there is first and last name, I cannot change to single name like “RickyGai” without specifying the last name, it won’t allow to change.

  1. Therefore, I wondered is there any issues of using Windows user name with space in between like “Ricky Gai” ?

  2. I read the forum, some answer is related to Android OS version, I am trying this approach now, will reveal the result later.

Please advise whether statement 1 is ok for Android deployment or not ?

Thanks.

hmm no offence but are you lost? where are you logging in to?

This is an Unreal Engine forum not windows or IOS. Do you mean into the epic launcher? or website?

hi High500, apologizing for the previous comments are bit confused as that time was newly interacting with UE5.1.1, was doubted many things, one of it is the Windows login username which I suspected may cause the compile problem due to space in between the username. Later, is confirmed that UE5.1.1 able to handle Windows login username with space in between, all projects compiled successfully.

Initially, there seems to be an issues on Android deployment, later is resolved and documented HERE. Thanks again.
