The Wendigo [Greenlight]

Hello everyone!

As of today my game has hit the greenlight process! That being said I felt I should share the game and all its glory with the forums for feedback and comments! The game is an action horror investigation game, where you play as a paranormal investigator who is trying to debunk a local urban legend. The legend goes there is a house out in the woods that was once a home to a wealthy family and they started reporting strange sightings in the woods around the property. Shortly after the sightings the family was found slaughtered on the property with no trace of a suspect. The wounds were like on the bodies were nothing that a native animal could have done and this is what started the legend of the Wendigo for the town. Flash forward several years to now were you, the player, and your team of investigators head out to the house to try and debunk the local legend of the house being owned by the Wendigo. Its not until your friends go to setup the equipment that you notice something wrong…as none of them come back at 9 PM. This is where the game starts as you look for clues as to where your friends are, all while trying to not become the Wendigo’s next meal!

The game is now starting its climb in steam greenlight (links below) and would appreciate any feedback or comments you have on the game! And yes, I know I posted this game a while back on a different thread but since the game is no longer in alpha state and the name of the game has changed I created a new thread for it…All future comments will be dropped on this thread. Thanks for checking it out and have a great day!

Hey looking good … Are you aware that steam is ending its green light system ?

Hello! Yes, I am aware of this, however they are still urging people to submit their games to green light and you can still get approved through this system until the new on takes over…sooo here is to hoping right? And if not? Then I guess i will be trying the new system when it rolls out

Any tips on Global Illumination or ‘Night Time Lighting’ for interior scenes? I like the look of the house. Also any gameplay screenshots?

Thats kinda a hard question to answer in a short forum response, I stream daily on twitch (in my signature is the link) and i can help explain on there if you catch me live and i can show you how i have it setup if you would like. Also all of the screenshots taken are from in game or rather “gameplay” but for promotional purposes I was avoiding giving away certain aspects of the game.
