the Vortex Velocity Module seems removed in Niagara in unreal 5.4

Does the Vortex Velocity Module removed forever? Is there any alternative method that can achieve the same effect?

I have the same problem, Vortex Velocity was removed and there is not other module we can use.

I’ve noticed that too while trying to follow a tutorial for a portal effect. I wonder why it’s been removed in 5.4 since its features don’t seem to be included somewhere else

I’m on the same position as you, I just updated and don’t seem to find an alternate version anywhere, what happened to the vortex velocity? I thought that they had put some new features on the vortex force to take out the vortex force pull but nothing has added and I couldn’t find nothing related to orbit or something like this.

Both workarounds posted here kinda work but don’t interact with other modules the same way the old Vortex Velocity module did. It’s really frustrating that there is no simple replacement for the module.

I encountered this problem as well, and as a quick fix, I opened Niagara in Unreal 5.3, added the Vortex Velocity module, and opened it by double-clicking it. Then, I copied the entire script into a Niagara Module Script and imported it into my Unreal 5.4 project.

It works perfectly.
