Hi,
I am very new to Unreal and I am having an issue which I cannot solve.
I made my models in Blender, then textured them in Unreal. Is it possible to export my textured models out of Unreal into .fbx and keep the applied textures? Every time I export the model, the mesh is fine but the textures do not stick. I have been exporting the model by selecting ‘asset actions’ then ‘export’ and kept the default settings, but the textures do not come through. The model has 2 image textures which were not created in unreal, which are correctly exporting.
So my question is, is there a way to export my model with the texture correctly applied? Or have I gone wrong in the actual texture creation?
Thanks in advance!
- Settings when exporting model from Unreal
- Material in Unreal
- Completed model with correct textures in Unreal
- Exported model (.fbx) with the Unreal made texture gone
- Image textures (not made in Unreal) still applied
