First of all excuse me for my English. I have a problem with a texture, I’m still quite new, I hope you can see what I mean on the picture. HERE
What happens if you put that texture on a plain cube?
Then looks good HERE
I dont find this option in UE5…
It will be there, but I don’t have 5 at the moment, so I can’t show you…
I think your UVs may be screwed…
Hmm, they look ok.
These seams are your UV
But I’m not sure about the black lines. Can you show the normal map?
How do I get these individual textures, in the meshes or UV what ever ?
What is that? It’s so small I can’t see it
That is apparently the Texture i need. Looks like the UV
The material on the mesh, will have a base color and a normal, probably. Maybe the black lines are in the normal map.
Ok, then I think it’s the mesh. What does it look like in this mode?
Wait, can i give you the .fbx and the texture ?
Yes, if you like. Put it somewhere I can download.
Ok, a big problem, is this is UV 1
But that’s the UV that UE uses for the lightmap. The engine uses UV0 for mapping textures, but your UV0 looks like this:
That’s why it looks shonky.
You need to make UV0 the same as UV1, that will help a lot.
and how switch the uv1 to uv0?
In the modelling software. I might be possible in UE, but I have no idea how…
