Player speed was clamped. The update greatly reduced the clamping. You’re expected to revise your values to work with the new setup. Refer to the following thread for more information. You can leave feedback there as well.

Player Movement Device Defaults

Normally, player speeds resolving above 1,800 cm/s are silently clamped to 1,800. In 42.20, player speeds are allowed to resolve above this value to a maximum of 11,000 cm/s if either Sprint Maximum Speed or Tactical Sprint Speed Multiplier is set to a non-default value in the Player Movement Device.
