The Snow Queen : Real Time Opera Performance

Hi all!

I am really excited to show off some of the just released work myself and my wonderfully talented team (Casey Dalbo and Casey Richardson) at Swinburne University have made for Victorian Opera’s new performance of ‘The Snow Queen’

This is a new kind of live stage opera that combines real time stereo 3D scenography and live action performance that allows us to drastically reduce the cost of using large real world stage assets in favour totally 3d environment characters and effects. This allows us to bring the performance to more remote locations then ever before!

It was a complete joy to use Unreal Engine 4 on this project, everything we needed it to do was already in the engine and everything came together without a single problem.

More to be released as they come.
