The Skeleton SK_Mannequin is missing bones that SkeletalMesh SKM_Quinn_Simple needs. They will be added now. Please save the Skeleton!



I’m not sure what I even did, but now all the bones except the head bone in my SK_Mannequin, and now all my animation don’t work, they just t-pose. This is super annoying, would be great to get some help.

I now have the same issue. I was importing a Skeletal mesh from Blender with what I thought was the Mannequin rig. In the FBX Import Options window I selected the SK_Mannequin Skeleton. There must have been an issue with my Blender to UE skeleton and it made changes to the SK_Mannequin Skjeleton which is now stuck in T-pose and ruined all my other characters. I had done too many actions to undo back to before I messed everything up.

Can I:

  • re-import the original SK-Mannequin?
  • reset back to the original SK_Mannequin
  • another option without having to rebuilkd a whole project and many characters

Just a few weeks ago I was playing around with C++ and created a function that changed the names of bones. Although everything worked, after autosaving a fatal error occurred and the project crashed. After that I couldn’t even open it.

To solve the problem I replaced the skeleton and its associated skeletal meshes with their uncorrupted versions from another third person template and that fixed the problem. I don’t think I did anything else, although I don’t remember now.
