The Skeleton "SK_Mannequin" is missing bones that SkeletalMesh "SKM_Manny" needs. They will be added now. Please save the Skeleton!

I’m getting this error and I don’t know why. I followed a tutorial about adding a socket to the Unreal skeleton, and it was working until recently. I have no idea why it’s doing this now. As far as I can see, there is nothing in either SKM_Manny’s skeleton that isn’t in SK_Mannequin but another set of eyes might be able to see what I can’t. Saving the asset manually does not fix the issue.

Did you alter the skeletons (?) because they are missing “Spine_04” and “Spine_05”.

Your iteration has the same amount as the UE4 Skeleton.

These are the bones that Unreal is declaring missing.

I didn’t alter the skeletons to remove anything, so I don’t know how those bones went missing. Because I couldn’t figure out what it was I had done to change the skeletons, I copied them over from another project and the issue has gone away.
