The problem with the jumping animation.

when should movement or idle start, but it stops at the last frame of the jump animation

Follow this and see what did you do different

i can’t be bothered frankly to keep watching that video to try and spot what your missing but if this video doesn’t work i can say its either something with your conditions in the state machine to return or an engine problem but the most likely thing here is you’ve set it up wrong and following this tutorial you’ll find where that is

also respectfully if you want actual answers from people it’s best to put as good of a description of whats going on as you can into the ue forms post

Going further you could actually attach screenshots of the Animation Bps

And label them

Random Example “MyActor”

in the process of doing this your also essentially tracing the execution path and you’ll likely see what you missed and never have to make a post if it is a simple thing
in the example above for further example i would also include a screenshot of what’s going on in the other relevant bps and functions or macros preferably having them all opened at the top as a ref to where the picture is from in the case above you can clearly tell were looking at MyActor on the main event graph

With a video like this your basically saying solve my problem for me and oh you’ll have to endure this while watching me click around to things that are relevant but you at least from the 2 times that i could muster to watch seem to have forgotten to show the animation bp for the actual idle/walk

So i have a problem with my animation freezing after the state machine returns from the jumping state, i’ve attached the relevant Bps and even a video if you want to watch me trace the execution flow

it seems to be returning to the idle state just fine but then when i move the animation is broken

all this to say please put a little more effort into your posts… nobody wants to watch this kind of thing with your music going and some naked man jumping around, while not being able to reference copies of what’s going on from screenshots and having to skip back and forward through such a video to find out

Hopefully you take this all as a learning experience and not me trying to rub you the wrong way
if the first video didn’t help you then I’ll just tell you because i already berated the quality of your post so you deserve this much

In your Idle state the movement speed is not calculated correctly, how idk i couldn’t keep watching that video sorry, attach the stuff like the example above and i’ll give it a better shot and not berate you

thanks a lot for the video, thanks to him I revised the locomotion system. The character is now moving normally from one state to another. Next time I will describe the problem in more detail and make screenshots for blueprints. Once again, thank you very much
