the problem of spam in the animation tag

You need to enter the minimum number of animations that can be uploaded, otherwise the branch will be completely cluttered with single animations, this is a screenshot under the animation tag, I think it shouldn’t be like this

https://www.fab.com/category/animation

Same is happening with 3D models category, people uploading non-stop IA generated simple cheap models:

Half of the problem is the “relevance” sorting, is not working. If not even influenced by product revenue.

They said are not against AI generated content, me neither, but spamming and overcrowding the marketplace at insane speed and frequency should not be allowed. Why will someone (unless by mistake) buy $0.99 models when they can also pay a monthly ~$10 service and generate hundreds of models.

How they can even properly review that many listings?

Product publishing should be limited by 1 per day. That’s enough for a human to produce a valuable product. If they want to upload 100 AI generated in a single day, better put them on a collection, and organize by theme (don’t need to thanks me for the advice).

Other things FAB could do: Set AI tagged models hidden by default.

Additionally if they are going to be that permissive that even allowing (when the API is ready) to automatically upload 3D ai generated models, better create a separate site for that infinite supply of content. (and good luck).

Thanks for the feedback. We’re actively working on both improving search/filtering in general and better enforcement of the AI Generated content flag specifically.
