The previous MEGASCANS COLLECTION has been taken off the shelves in fab

I found that the MEGASCANS COLLECTION that used to be very useful has all been taken down from fab. It is only available when it was added to the library before. What should I do? Can it still be obtained

Upon moving to Fab, the legacy Megascans collections (like those you’ve listed) were deprecated. However, they are still available as individual assets. For example, the “Lava Field Collections” assets can be located in Fab—here.

However, not all assets, such as List 1 and List 2 of 3D Assets, have been transferred yet. These are scheduled to move to Fab later in the year.

In other cases, they may have been deprecated, like the Prickly Shield Fern (tkvifeyia) and Button Fern (sfcpd), which were part of the legacy Megascans Tropical collection. With this collection, the Areca Palm (shFjC) is on the ‘list 2’ of 3D Assets moving to Fab later in the year, but the remaining 17 3D assets in that legacy collection are available on Fab.

If you previously “claimed all” the Quixel assets, you shouldn’t have an issue obtaining those Quixel assets that have already been moved to Fab. Also, here is the list of deprecated Megascans assets that won’t be transferring to Fab.

We appreciate that there are many Quixel assets on Fab. We’re continuing to improve its searchability and features.

The previous Megascans collection was not merely a collection of resources. It also included well-constructed and very useful pre-assembled models and level instances. I think it’s really good. Can’t we get it back? Even if I pay for it, I can still have it.
