The Player Controller passes the yaw to the Pawn but not pitch or roll. Why?


Here is the blue print. I have turned off the spring arm or camera using the pawn control rotation. And the character will turn left/right to my mouse X move but not the character is not pitching to my mouse Y move. I assumed that the Controller will just pass everything to the character.

Do your settings look like this in your InputMappingContext?
Make sure the mouse is XY 2D-Axis.

Just in case anyone else runs into this issue, the problem is that in your pawn settings, you can tick on whether Yaw/Pitch/Roll should be passed from Player Controller to Pawn. Only Yaw is ticked on default.
