Hi, I am Houdini artist and learning UE 5.
When I rotate/orbit around viewport, I want to keep the selected object on the center in viewport. (Houdini can do it by default. )
Then I thought UE 5 could also do the same with editor preference > viewport > enable “orbit camera around selection” , but the result is still the same and the viewport always rotate / orbit around center of world origin or somewhee else.
Besides, when I click “play this level in the active level editor viewport”, an actor pops up. And now the viewport is orbitting around the actor.
I saw some tutorials for this problems in youtube, and it looks working. I guess UE 5.1.0-23058290 has this bug, and we need to wait for new version. Is that right?
