The new Nav Mesh is way worse than before

Ever since the update, whatever change was made to building the navigation around the player is much worse than it was before. The nav mesh is not being updated enough and it is not doing a wide enough search.

Please reconsider the change as it has made my game, at least, considerably worse as zombies that are meters away from the player will just stop because they reached the edge of the nav mesh. This is frequently the case when the player hasn’t gone far enough off the current nav mesh to trigger a recompute of the nav mesh.

Have you considered just using Nav Invokers?

Im not sure if you can or not, but generally when you let the engine entierly handle the nav mesh you don’t have the same issues you get when you attempt to manicure it…
