These animations are off by 90 degrees when used with motion warping.

I tried Create Asset → Create Animation → Current Animation → Preview Mesh, but the resulting animation is broken.

I tried to rotate in blender - it plays in the right direction, then character rotates back to the old incorrect direction.

What can be done?

Thanks for purchasing the pack and using our product.

I was able to reproduce the issue exactly as you described it, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The issue you are facing is happening because the root motion of the animations is the facing of the character during mo-cap and the way motion warping works doesn’t like that.

I solved the issue discussed by

  1. baking the animation to the control rig
  2. deleting all the root_ctrl frames
  3. adding your own root_ctrl frames (a slight forward nudge should do the trick)
