Hi, I just downloaded Unreal and encountered this problem. I exported a model with texture from SketchUp to Unreal, but the same texture is invisible in some areas. I searched for a solution, and the only thing I could find was activating the “two sides” option in the material settings, but it didn’t work. How can I solve this problem? I don’t want to change the material
Hey there @AmineBayindir! Welcome to the community! My first thought was that the normal direction for the faces of the meshes you’re using was reversed, due to being see invisible, and I was going to recommend inverting the normals in SketchUp. However the two sided material would have also resolved this (with some shader complexity overhead added but it would still show the material).
How does the material react on normal primitives? Is it only the custom models having issues with the material? Does the effected mesh accept default materials correctly?

Hellooo!!!
I’m looking for an Unreal Engine 5 artist to create a cinematic walkthrough video and a real-time VR experiencefrom an existing SketchUp architectural model.
If you know someone with experience in architectural visualization / Unreal Engine, please let me know.

Thank you!
Sometimes single plane meshes also causes this issue, i would recommend to add some thickness to the mesh. Even though the two sided option should have solved the issue, so i think the thickness might be the issue.
