The level does not open after deleting folders

Hey there! I am a newbie in UE5 and I got a problem: I cant open level NewMap. Right before it crashed I deleted folder called “Characters” and all other folders while using “add feature or Contentpack” from First Person (I’ve been working with Metahuman). All other folders with different content that I did not delete are easy to access. But when I try to open the level it gives the error on the screenshot 1 and a list. If it is relevant, I had Default RHI- Vulkan. If you know how to solve the problem, please write down your answer in detail. I’m not good at the program. Thank you for understanding!!!

Did you move the level/file before deleting the folder or did you move it then delete it before saving and also are you running with a repository?

I couldn’t stand anything. I just deleted the “extra” folders from attempts to create a first-person view and that’s it

Hey @De_maan… It kind of looks like you deleted files from the engine as well, or at least something they relied on. Try to uninstall and reinstall your Unreal Engine installation.

Also, I don’t know if this is what you did, but DO NOT delete files from outside of the Editor! Use the editor for that! Because it has to fix up redirectors after, there’s more to deleting here than just removal.

Hope that works for you!

I have the file “NewMap_Auto 3.umap” in my auto-saves. Can the file help me ?

I reinstalled the program, but the problem did not go away. According to the tutorial from YouTube, I wanted to take a file from auto-save and use it. But the difference is that the person did it, and the auto-save file uploaded to the ue5 work folder via Explorer was also shown in the content browser, but it is not displayed in mine. When trying to create a level named autofiles, the content browser tells me that such a file already exists, although it is not displayed in the content browser
