why does the launcher need to download data every time it is run. it should be able to cache the images and only update the ones that have changes. it can’t be that difficult.
i am in Australia and our internet sucks so the launcher takes a very long time to sort itself out.
i’m feeling the rage growing it’s getting harder to contain…so please fix it!
Thank you for getting in contact with us, that does sound frustrating. It is not expected behaviour, the launcher does have image caching as well as other data too.
I’d like to help fix your issue, could you please describe exactly what you are seeing that always downloads, perhaps some screenshots? Logs would also help if that’s easier, you can get to those via the top right gear menu “Show launcher logs”.
