Hi there @gaur184u,

Welcome to the Unreal Engine forums. So nice to see a new face around here

First of all, congrats on releasing your first cinematic! Such a genuinely exciting time. Secondly, I really enjoyed the dialogue and story-telling. Especially the action sequences. Truly well done

If you don’t mind me asking, how long were you working on this?

Thanks for appreciation! This short film was a two-month journey, from concept to final cut. I initially created half of it using Unreal Engine 5.3, and when Unreal Engine 5.4 was released, I upgraded to take advantage of its enhanced animation features. The improved retargeting and other updates in UE 5.4 allowed me to refine and polish the scenes further, bringing the project to a whole new level.
It’s been an incredible experience

Such a relatively short amount of time for such a high quality product  The things people can do with Unreal always just blows me away. Do you have any other projects on the horizon for us forum-dwellers to look forward too?

After the incredible response to my short film, which proudly won multiple awards last year, I was deeply motivated to push my creative boundaries further. This led to the creation of a 2-hour feature film set in the same universe. I’m thrilled to share that this feature is almost complete and should be ready in the next 1-2 months. The feature film dives deeper into the story introduced in the short, with an expansive narrative and stunning cinematic visuals. The short was just a glimpse of the larger universe I’ve been building, and it’s been an exciting journey bringing it to life on a grander scale.I’m planning to release this feature on major OTT platforms, and I can’t wait for you all to experience this epic vision. Stay tuned for more updates!
